What is YAAARC?
YAAARC is the Ypsilanti Ann Arbor Area Robotics Club. YAAARC was formed to promote the construction of hobby level robotic devices. The original purpose was to produce mobile robotic devices that could successfully navigate through a maze. The first contest was held at the Confusion Science Fiction Convention in January, 1995.
Yaaarc membership is open to anyone interested in hobby robotics. We hold monthly meetings, currently on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Meetings are usually held at a member's house. There are no membership fees. There is no formal organizational structure. We have about 10 active members.
